History
In his search for the ideal grip for his sport pistol, the company founder Karl Nill had to make fundamental decisions in regard to the handling of his pistol. This resulted in a match grip which immediately attracted the attention of his fellow sport shooters. In 1969 his vision became reality. The desire for more shooting comfort resulted in the start-up of a company that has grown to be the leading supplier of high-quality handgun grips.
The first grips were completely manufactured by hand and represented a quantum jump in grip technology (Fig. 1). Steady product development led to the
non adjustable (Fig. 2) and later to the
adjustable match grips (Fig. 3) which are moulded to detail. Since their product launch until now these grips supported shooters to win national and international championships.
Shortly aftre the development of the matchgrips the won knowledge was transmitted to create optimal grips for service pistols (Fig. 4) This new generation fills the hand better, achieves much more comfort and provided with the stippled surface a slip-proof hold.
In the final analysis a grip must not only guarantee excellent gun handling, it must also be an object of beauty. Nill Grips combine ergonomic functionality with exceptional appearance. Nill Grips users have won numerous national and international titles.
Almost directly from the beginning many companies trusted
in the advantages of Nill grips to optimize their weapons:
